Exploring on a November Day

The months are flying past, and I'm trying to grieve our departure from beloved Mexico City in the way I know best, which is to love it fully. Amidst the Scouting and basketball and church and school and volunteering, I'm making an effort to get out of the house and walk around and explore, especially with friends. These past three months, I've hollered at Lucha Libre, climbed up to Chapultepec Castle, admired swirling dancers at Ballet Folklorico at Bellas Artes, meandered through the Rotunda of Illustrous People, floated on a trajinera in Xochimilco, wandered through Frida's Blue House, ridden Cablebus line 3, hiked to the tops of mountains above the clouds, and traipsed from the foundation to the rafters of the Monument to the Revolution. I still have so many more places to see, so many more activities to do, and so many more people to love before I leave. I'm grateful for it.
