My Bad

I dropped the "job bomb," and then I gave you basically no details about it! Haha. Sorry about that!

So, he will be working for City Wide Maintenance of Cincinnati. It is a franchise company, and (if you're curious) you can go to its website by clicking right here.

He will be a manager of quite a few different facilities. I don't know how many, but he gets $400 a month for gas, so I can only assume the company believes he'll be driving a lot, so there must be a lot of buildings to look over. He's in charge of managing all of the facility needs and keeping the clients happy. He is required to take a client out to lunch at least once a week and make sure they have everything they need and want for their facilities: well maintained grounds, clean buildings, enough paper towels, etc. He manages the people who take care of all of that, and he makes sure they are lined up with the suppliers who offer them the best deals, etc. etc.

They gave us the offer on Friday (on his birthday!), and he accepted it today. We're pretty excited about that, because his offer included no vacation days until after the first year, which I told him was normal and to deal with it, and he said "it never hurts to ask . . . " So, he did, and he got a week of vacation this first year, so that's pretty great! (He, of course, already had a week of personal and sick days, but now he has vacation days, too!)

It is located in Fort Wright, Kentucky. It is about half an hour away from where Jeff's parents live. So, we are going to look first in the ward at places to live, and we would really like to find a place here, because we love our ward, already have callings, and don't want to go through the "being new" process all over again. Jeff, haha, of course, never had to go through that process, since he's not really new to the ward. But I did, and I have a lot of trouble remembering names, so I'd like to keep the ones that I've already learned!!
