Jeff and I were on a walk with Jill and the dog, Sam. There were lots of geese and ducks in the lake we were circling. Lots of cute babies, too. Then all of a sudden, we saw the tiniest baby ducks I've ever seen.
Baby ducks are seriously my favorite thing. I had to take Wes on walks to the duck pond by BYU once a week while Randy was in class--even though he was too little to care much about the ducks.
We were driving somewhere, and all of a sudden the traffic was all backed up, because the cars in our lane kept waiting for the other lane to be clear so they could go around something in our lane. We assumed it was a blown over trash can or something. Why doesn't someone just get out and move it? When we got to the front of the line though, we could see what everyone had been so careful to avoid hitting. A mama duck leading four or five tiny baby ducks across the street to where there was a small stream. It was so precious!
