Birthday

So, I had a birthday! It was a great day. I turned 24 yesterday. Jeff took me to Panera for lunch, which I enjoyed immensely. Panera was one of my favorites from when I used to live out in this area of the country. ;) The food was as good as ever.

My mother-in-law got awesome balloons and made me a birthday cake, so that's pretty awesome. I got to blow out candles. ;)

Jeff's little brother had a baseball game, so we went to that. It was fun, although quite hot, and our team won. Jeff's brother (Kyle) is the pitcher.

One present that I'm very excited about is a new bathing suit from Jeff's mom. My body has definitely changed a lot since the last time I bought a bathing suit, about three years ago. Changed a lot. I kind of miss my old body.

But that brings me to my other favorite birthday present. From money from my grandma Boling, Jeff and I bought a used jogging stroller. It is in really good condition. The lady we bought it from said she only used it once actually haha because she never got around to actually going running with it. So, hopefully I'll get more use out of it than she did!

Thanks to everyone for the facebook posts, phone calls, e-mails, and text messages!

  1. I hope you like your stroller! I always wanted to get one, but we never found one for a decent price. Happy Birthday!

  2. Happy Birthday! You are a braver woman than I am . . . I have been avoiding the whole bathing suit topic altogether! It is hard to adjust to having a new body. But these kiddos are just so darn cute it is hard to mind too much!

  3. NO Panera out west! Yikes...

I'm glad to know I won't be the only one uncomfortable in the bathing suit in a week!

  4. I'm so glad you had a good birthday! Your Panera lunch makes me jealous. No Panera in Vegas. I am excited about your new swimming suit! I just got a new one too off of shade.com. Love it. Hope you have fun this weekend with your family! The Poultons are coming over for the 4th and we will really miss the Colletts! :(
