Jeffrey and I got to enjoy a nice meal with old friends today. Reed McGrew and I met when I was 12, and he has been one of my best friends ever since. Below you see a picture of Reed and his wife, Abby, and their beautiful baby, Andy (John Anderson). Andy is just two months' old. What a cutie! :)
Abby made a delicious meal. She called it white chicken chili, but it was unlike any white chicken chili I had ever had. She added cream cheese and sour cream into the broth, so it was really creamy. I just loved it!

To finish out a nice evening, we played some euchre. That is the most popular card game of the central states region. If you've never heard of it, then you're obviously from the South, East, or West, and it's your loss. Haha. Come over, and I'll teach you!

ReplyDeleteI've learned that game like 10 times but after every time I immediately purge it from my brain. I'm not a big card game lover.
