Gambling

So, while in Las Vegas, I wondered to myself why so many people gamble. The house always wins. These people actually come with a plan to just spend money and not get something back, like a show or food or clothing or night's stay. Perhaps they get a thrill or something in return, but that's just not worth it to me.

Anyway, Get Fuzzy appeared to be thinking about the same thing as I was.
