So, we didn't get to do anything for our first anniversary, because something happened to our car right at the same time that cost a lot of money, but this anniversary nothing like that happened! We had a wonderful time.
The celebration began with dinner at Chef's Table. It was expensive, but they gave us so much food! Jeff and I both weren't able to finish. The rolls and soup were delicious. Jeffrey had salmon and potatoes. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken. I thought there would be a few tiny pieces of chicken—nope! There were three large chicken breasts! Unbelievable! We didn't have room for dessert, but we had it put in a box for later in the evening.
One of the servers took our picture for us. I sure did enjoy my kiwi lemonade. Jeffrey had blackberry lemonade. I honestly believe there were more servers at that restaurant than people.
I thought this fountain was really pretty. The water is bubbling.
We got to see The Miracle Worker at Hale Center Theatre in Orem. It was amazing. I had kind of wanted a love story, but I really, really enjoyed it. I had seen it before, but I thought they did a superb job. I couldn't believe how good the little girl playing Helen was, and Anne Sullivan was performed smashingly.
So it's not a mansion by today's standards. But it sure was when it was built over one hundred years ago! It's is a beautiful home.
It was a beautiful blue and white room. I love blue! I also thought, "Only in Utah will the room have complimentary sparkling pear juice instead of wine." ;) Perfect! All of the rooms had different names and themes. Ours was named, "Kitty Hines." Kitty was the name of the original hostess of the home when it was built.
Good night, ya'll! The mansion is famous for having the largest collection of VHS tapes. We capped of the night with some great 80s movie. Haha.
Here's where we had the privilege of eating breakfast. The owners cooked it. There was yogurt with fresh fruit, bacon, and pancakes . . . it was so yummy!

Here we are going home. It was a wonderful, wonderful anniversary. On the radio, "Just Got Started Lovin' You" by James Otto kept playing whenever we were driving somewhere. I thought it was very appropriate. ;)

How fun! That was like three anniversary celebrations in one. :) I had some friends who had their wedding reception at the Hines Mansion, it really is beautiful!
