I don't know what I would do if they didn't!) I have them all over in every room of the house. I've never had a monitor... I figure if they really need something, they'll yell loud enough for me to hear. Is that mean? Oh well :)Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00863492212591251985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1082773744703965040.post-63770237499619171672009-09-09T21:55:38.590-05:002009-09-09T21:55:38.590-05:00Thanks for the tips! :) Those are really helpful.

I'm glad that my friends are focusing on my baby instead. :) I just think it's funny how obsessed with it I am these days!Mimi Colletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15879880111595536353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1082773744703965040.post-22221441914232567172009-09-09T21:37:16.146-05:002009-09-09T21:37:16.146-05:00i actually made a mark on the volume wheel of our ...i actually made a mark on the volume wheel of our baby monitor so i would know where to turn it to because I had the same night anxiety about not hearing it (but HATE the static sound). I'd actually forgotten about that until you mention it, but marking the right volume definitely helped :o)*Meg Larsen*https://www.blogger.com/profile/17194509720824768800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1082773744703965040.post-74300225257413898742009-09-09T19:27:57.000-05:002009-09-09T19:27:57.000-05:00Story of my life.Story of my life.Brookehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08149677841966218852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1082773744703965040.post-23143991087209697672009-09-09T16:44:22.843-05:002009-09-09T16:44:22.843-05:00guilty as charged. sorry bout that. you are such a...guilty as charged. sorry bout that. you are such a good mom!
are you home yet??Sara, Nick, and kidshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09066332875489251658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1082773744703965040.post-78330242467901074332009-09-09T13:33:25.823-05:002009-09-09T13:33:25.823-05:00We didn't use a pacifier for Benji until he wa...We didn't use a pacifier for Benji until he was almost 6 weeks old. And even then, I nursed him more often than I gave him the pacifier (that's what a pacifier is taking the place of anyway, right?) I also never had to use our baby monitor much either, because Benji sleeps with us. I would use it occasionally while he was napping, but I probably didn't really need it. Some of the baby things I couldn't leave home without: burp cloths, nursing cover, and....burp cloths! Then when she had figured out how to, she never wanted it in anymore, so oh well. At least I don't have to worry about weaning her from one! there were so many times though when I was desperate for her to use one...

As for baby monitors, we never had one so I don't really know but i do think you could probably leave it pretty low. I was always so tuned in to Hallie noises that she woke me up for nursing even before she had really woken up herself.Amy Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16240262331193821446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1082773744703965040.post-22181997263370448162009-09-09T10:43:20.676-05:002009-09-09T10:43:20.676-05:00I tried with the binkie in the baby idea but none ...I tried with the binkie in the baby idea but none of you kids wanted to have a binkie. I guess I didn't try hard enough. I guess it just wasn't too important to me. I had such angel kids that you never cried much anyway!
(Mimi wants to know if I actually want to say JK, "Were we actually 'angel kids'?" Oh my yes, you were all so sweet and quiet! And we don't have to keep looking for her binki, AND it doesn't fall on the walmart parking lot or anything other place a pacifier shouldn't be!Troy & Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15209915178407095464noreply@blogger.com
